Why Omega Mart Exists
Omega Mart started with a simple, personal problem.
Someone close to the founder ran a handmade bangle business, entirely through Facebook, crafting each piece by hand, replying to customer messages, taking and organizing orders, booking parcels with couriers, and following up on delivery status, all by herself.
It became clear how hard that was to sustain. Crafting handmade products takes time, care, and focus, but so does running the business side: messaging, order management, courier coordination, tracking updates. Doing both well, at the same time, alone, wasn't realistic. Focus on the craft, and replies slow down, orders slip away. Focus on managing orders and messages, and there's no time left to actually make the products. Either way, growth stalls.
That gap is why Omega Mart was built: a managed marketplace for handmade and small-batch sellers, where the seller's job is to craft great products, and everything else is handled for them.
What Omega Mart Does
Omega Mart is a marketplace built specifically for Bangladesh's handmade and small-scale makers, handicrafts, home decor, clothing, bags, gift items, and similar small-batch production, who are ready to move beyond managing everything through a Facebook page alone.
When a seller opens a stall on Omega Mart, we handle:
- Bringing in orders, through omni-channel marketing, so sellers aren't dependent on manually replying to every inbound message.
- Order and delivery management, from courier booking to real-time tracking and customer delivery updates.
- Customer communication, inquiries, order status, and tracking questions handled on the seller's behalf.
- Payments, secure payment collection (Cash on Delivery and online payment) and scheduled settlement to the seller after successful delivery.
Who Omega Mart Is For
Omega Mart is built for small and medium handmade and handicraft businesses in Bangladesh, many of whom are currently selling only through a Facebook page, who want to grow into a proper online brand without needing to build a website, learn to code, or hire a team to manage logistics and customer service.
Where We Are Today
Omega Mart launched in 2026 and is already home to a growing number of artisan stalls across categories like handicrafts, home decor, and handmade accessories, with more joining as word spreads.
Our Commitment
Omega Mart exists because handmade businesses deserve to scale without burning out the people behind them. We're building the operational backbone, orders, delivery, payments, customer support, so that sellers can spend their time where it matters most: making things well.
